    I ordered four boxes with my first order and have to say I am very pleased. A lot of the reviews for Duty Free Cuban cigars that I have read on this website seem to be by people who didn’t take the time to read the full website before placing an order. Seems like a lot of people who have written reviews here are very impatient:: Take the time to read the website and recognize that if you are a buyer in the United States it may take a little time to get you the cigars, but they will come… If you take the time to read the website you will realize it takes up to 4 business days to process an order. You will also realize Damien, who is a good guy, is working with a network of suppliers. It is the available stock of these suppliers that determines what’s available and when. Two of the boxes I ordered arrived in a timely fashion in about 10 days ( all cigars accounted for and an excellent condition with verifiable barcodes). The other two boxes took a little more than a month, but that’s because of available stock with suppliers. As an American Buyer I am very happy to have found someone who can reliably get me Cuban cigars and I have already placed another order with duty free. The cigars are legit, Damian is a good guy who stays in touch and does his best to avoid complications. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars from me.

  4. Bought 3 boxes. Takes about 2-3 weeks to process, but once you get the tracking number and the package gets to customs, it’s about 4 days. So less than a month, you can have your Cubans in your humidor ready to smoke.

Against my better judgement, I smoked a stick straight off the USPS truck and sure enough it was 100% real. He will be hearing again from me soon.

    Just letting you know my cigars arrived safe and sound in Central Texas this morning. I am so excited! Ordered on September 1, shipped on the 6th and already making a home in my humidor on the 11th.
    Fast service to say the least. I paid the extra $10 for tracking and I found it worth every penny as the USPS let me know every step of the way once the package got to NYC. Thank you and you can believe

Be warned !!Do not buy from Duty Free Cigars.Damian Cayman aka Damian Bancroft has one excuse after another.This is my honest review as i have been ripped off.My order 16454 place a month ago.First was told the cigars i ordered they didnt have,i said send others so i thought they shipped approx 10 day later he said waiting for track number and it be another 4 to 5 days behind on shipments.inquired week later same old excuse another 4 to 5 days im still behind on shipments.Sometimes he answers email and sometimes not.He also has some type excuse and i am not happy.I requested that they be shipped or im turning in credit bank fraud .no answer and of course no ship.since then i ordered from 2 different companies and no excuses and no problems,So buyer beware.I will never order another thing from duty free cigars.anyways i hope this help other people from being ripped off

    • Hi Tim, I apologize for your long wait due to issues we can not disclose to you or on this website. We do get many orders every day and do our best to deliver to the US as promised in original sealed boxes. Due to supply and demand, our suppliers do tend to run out and restock the more popular “marcas” and “vitolas”
      We did inform you as best we could with not the best communication from Switzerland at many times. In the end, you were refunded on your Amex by us when you requested one. This review was made in Feb 2019 and it’s now just being uploaded by the admins of this website on May 09th, 2019.

    My order was placed 21 days ago and my account is still pending. They have my money, but I don’t know when to expect my shipment. If it takes a long time, I’m OK with that, just give me a time frame? At some point, I will need to call Chase Bank and ask them to reverse the credit card transaction. It’s a shame, because so many people are getting their shipments in three weeks time.

  28. I placed an order with this site in March for two boxes of Bolivar Tubos No 1, which have not been in production for about two years. My order number is #17093. Since I am a fan of these, I was excited to see them listed on the website, and I even emailed Damian to confirm they were in stock. He told me they were, and I placed the order. Roughly two months went by, all the while being told that they were having issues with clearing customs, before finally being told that the No. 1 were no longer in stock. He offered to replace those with something else of equal value. I decided on a box of Upmann Corona Majors and a box of Trinidad Coloniales. I was sent a tracking number and when the package arrived, only the Upmanns were present. I emailed to complain and, after two weeks, he got back to me and said the shipment for the Trinidads were placed on priority. That was moe then two months ago. I have not received them nor any response from Damian.

    I am a very patient man, which is why I did not post here sooner, but my patience has run out. I would recommend not using this site to order anything. I would recommend FOH instead; their customer service is phenomenal compared to here.

  31. On September 1, 2019 I ordered and paid for an assortment of Cuban cigars. No activity from ‘Duty Free Cayman Co.’ so I sent an email to “Damian” who stated on 9/9/2019 he would ship the cigars in 3 working days. Since then, I have emailed “Damian” 8 more times asking for a status. After a few weeks he replied that he is not replying because he doesn’t have the products and therefore does not have an answer for me. On 11/2/2019 I requested a refund. On 11/4/2019 he stated that a refund will occur in 48 hours. That did not happen.
    Note that the website did not indicate the cigars I ordered were “Out of Stock”. If it had, I obviously would not have ordered them. I have never seen a merchant accept a customer’s money for items they do not have in their possession.
    Note that their website will not allow you to view your order. When you click on the ‘status’ link it will kick you out requiring you to login to your account again. This endless loop continues and you will not be able to open the order to view it.
    Beware: this “company” will take your money for items they do not have. They will keep you from viewing the order online. They will stonewall you and keep your money.
    It appears to me that this company profits by collecting people’s money to create a high ‘daily balance’ which they draw interest on. That is bad enough, but sadly, you cannot get your money back from them.
    Do not enter this black hole. You will regret it. The positive reviews cannot be real. Real companies do not accept money for items they cannot deliver.
    Damian will give polite responses, but his typed words don’t matter. Action and integrity is what matters and this company has chosen to not have either.

      The reason we could not answer you in that time period is where we are located had a phone company provider error with communication for almost 10 days before it was resolved. When resolved can you imagine how many emails I had to filter through? Over 1000 and then get the mess cleared and I also operate a handfull of other duties on this small Island.     • I have not heard a word from DFCC. I received a message probably Damian pretending to be someone else. But, Damian can go to Trustpilot and complain about his complaints but not reply to his customers.

  35. Ordered 4 boxes of cigars. After months of poor communication from Damian, they did not send any tracking number. Eventually late Nov, 3 boxes arrive. Damian then sends an email that the final box will be sent within 3 days. This was Dec 3rd. Nothing. Now he’s not replying. He’s shut down his facebook because of negative reviews, and I have demanded a refund but again no reply.
    At best his just doesn’t give a damn about customer service, at worst this is randomly scamming people.
    Any negative reviews online like Trustpilot, he has it reported. This is not an honest business, and I highly recommend avoiding this “business’.

Now someone “Damian” say he has a medical problem and isn’t working and has no phone or internet and showed “someone” how to go to Trustpilot and send the same response to everyone. Still noting no shipment or refund. I have asked 6 times for a refund. Don’t order from Duty Free Cuban Cigars. There are better places to order from and can get them in the US the same week.

I have been waiting 5 months and received nothing but lies. We are backed up with orders to US. I am sending them Friday or Saturday. Dear sir Damian has medical issues in December. But, Trustpilot negative ads were being blocked. Now no responses from him. I have requested refund since he can’t operate a business unless his business is fraud. Don’t waste you time and money on Damian. He is a crook.

Duty Free Cuban cigars is a SCAM, Damain is a thief, the address on he’s website is not a cigar business, the toll free number is a generic recording, he’s phone number in Caiman Island 345-322-0208 has a recording asking which of the 4 business scams do you want to leave a message for. the PO box he has as an address in Cayman is a typical scam. I have reported this individual to my Visa and MasterCard fraud department, He uses other companies to make the charges against you card and steal your money. I have filed a criminal investigation with the Cayman Island criminal superintendent, I have filed a scam complaint with the Federal Trade Commission in the US, I have filled an investigation with INTERPOL since the Caiman Island is under British jurisdiction, I have filed a complain with the FBI. I contact the Bern Police department in Switzerland and the address on he’s website, Bonstettentrasse 2, 312 Bern, Switzerland is a small coffee shop. I can not believed how many people have been a victim of this scam. I will continue to find a way to shut down DUTY FREE CUBAN CIGARS website. Perhaps the Cayman Island Detective Superintendent can issue and arrested for fraud.

    • Ed, Your order was placed on the 24th of February 2020 and you have not even emailed us “the name of vendor” billed to your card as a major requirement to make sure you are the authorized cardholder before we start the shipping process. Again did you even bother to read this on your electronic receipt?

  47. Hi Ed, That address in Switzerland is an inbonded warehouse address where our suppliers expedite the orders. They basically drop ship for a handful of websites that operate online. The toll-free number was set up to actually leave a message and the original number was taken down due to tec issues on and off with Digicel which have been having problems with towers for the 6 months. If you wish just email us and we will answer any questions you have. We have also looked up your order and have issued you a refund. Sometimes a little reading on the customer service page and your electronic receipt with guidelines and policies will make sense of our procedures.

    2) No response after multiple follow ups after this date and order is still in Pending status.

  49. I’m in the same boat as you guys. I placed my order July 10th 2019. Charged 3 days later. Damian told me there was a delay with the shipper. He responded in August and September telling me my order was in line to be shipped. Never heard from him again. My order still says pending and nothing was ever shipped. They just ignore all my messages. Order #17873.

    I placed the order on 11/21/2019, received an email stating money was received. I heard nothing else until I left a negative review on Trustpilot, the response was that Damian was ill and had fallen behind. In the meantime, DFCC responded to my review stating a refund was given, negating the review. There have been several emails about a refund or the order (I would prefer the cigars) but nothing was ever delivered and I have received neither a refund or my cigars.
    It appears Damian is a liar and a thief.
    I recommend DFCC be avoided at all costs
